  • Dyspnea (Difficulty in breathing)
  • Cough
  • Orthopnea (Difficulty in breathing when lying down)
  • Paroxysmal nocturnal dyspnea (Difficulty in breathing at night)
  • Fatigue
  • Palpitations
  • Hemoptysis (Coughing up of bood)
  • Chest pain
  • Abdominal pain

Other signs of Peripartum Cardiomyopathy


  • Increased blood pressure
  • Edema (swelling of the feet and legs)
  • Heart murmur
  • Cardiomegaly (enlarged heart)
